In compliance with SDCL 26-10-10, 26-10-11, 26-10-12 it is the policy of the Aberdeen Catholic Schools that any school employee having reasonable cause to suspect that a child’s physical or mental health or welfare may be adversely affected by abuse or neglect shall report that suspicion to their building principal.
The law further states that any person who intentionally fails to make a report required by law is guilty of Class 1 Misdemeanor.
