Homework 

          Third graders will have some homework through out the year.  They will be responsible for their spelling lists every week.  The spelling lists will be sent home on Monday and they are to study them through out the week.  Parents need to sign the lists and the students will bring them back on Friday.

 They will also be required to finish any work that they didn't complete at school that day or any special assignments. 

 It is also helpful for them to study addition, subtraction at the beginning of the year. When we begin multiplication and division it is very important to study these facts at home.

 We strongly encourage reading at least 20 minutes a night.
