NEWS LETTER
It is the beginning of a new school year! All the students are excited to be in their new rooms with their new teachers. There is a new teacher in the After school program too! Hi, my name is Gretchen Pauly and I will be the new After School Program Director. I will be in the room everyday with the students helping with homework or working on new activities. I am truly excited to be with you this year and I know I have big shoes to fill. The staff from the past years did a wonderful job and I can only hope to be as fun and exciting as they were with all of you. Below is a letter I gave to all the students at the After school program, it is a small introduction of who I am. I will keep the monthly news letter up to date and keep you all informed as best I can. Thanks!
Dear Parents and Students,
I hope you are ready for a fun year at The Sonshine Patch, I know I am! We have a lot of new experiences coming our way and it will be an exciting adventure together. I am eager to meet all of you and see your smiling faces on the first day of school.
I would like to take this time to introduce myself and let you know that if you have any questions at all, please let me know before or after school, or even call me anytime at 605-228-5611. I will do my best to keep you informed of any new information and what is going to be happening in our classroom.
My name is Gretchen Pauly and I am originally from Willmar, MN. I recently graduated from Northern State University with an Elementary Education Degree including Early Childhood Education. I have always worked with children in some way, be it through the YMCA, the Boys and Girls club, or other after school activities. I am passionate about teaching kids and guiding them while they explore their world. Through centers and other learning style activities I feel the children will learn to love school and the world around them.
