Writing

From four squares of writing book students listen to how writers give reasons and explanations for their writing. Have students complete an activity sheet where they circle the sentence that proves the topic. |
From four squares of writing, students will be given a sentence and they will have to write three sentences that prove their topic to be true. Then write a feeling sentence. |
Have students work on Tuesday’s writing assignment and paint letters for a banner for grandparents Day. |
Play game of punctuation playhouse. Teacher puts up sentence that is missing the punctuation mark and students put a bingo marker on the correct punctuation mark. |
