ALL-STATE ORCHESTRA
The South Dakota All-State Orchestra is an auditioned and select group of musicians. Auditions are held in Watertown in early October, and selected students participate in the All-State Chorus and Orchestra Concert at the end of October.
Auditions consist of preparing two technical etudes and the All-State Orchestra literature, and finally taking a terms test. Preparation for the fall audition should begin in the spring.
