It is a basic principle of Catholic education that parents are a child's first teacher. Therefore, Roncalli parents play a significant role in their children's education and attend three parent-teacher conferences a year - attendance averages above 90%, compared to a 71% national average.
We are looking forward to welcoming you and your child to the Aberdeen Catholic School System. The Home and School Association and Roncalli Booster Club invite and encourage you to participate in our community. We urge every parent or guardian to join in some way to help our students on their spiritual journey to achievement. There are many ways to share your talents and time with the community.
Parents also take active roles in the ACSS community in other
ways. Through membership in the Home and School
Association, Booster Club, School Board, and other
organizations, parents donate their time and talent to support
various activities. In addition, through contributions to the
Roncalli Foundation, Hearts of Roncalli, and other fundraising
events and activities, families help the ACSS financially.
