Special Events
Roncalli Ball
The Roncalli Ball is one of Aberdeen’s major social events, as well as one of Roncalli’s chief fundraising events. Held every spring, the Ball features great food, great music, great auction items, all for a great cause. The Ball started in 1980 at Roncalli High School. In 2000, it moved out of the school and has been held at the Ramkota Inn and Convention Center since. The Ball supports instructional expenses at Roncalli. Click HERE for more information.
Cavalier Classic Golf Tournament
The Cavalier Classic is held annually in September on the Monday following Labor Day at Aberdeen’s beautiful Moccasin Creek Country Club. A great day of golf is joined by lunch, supper, prizes, and auction items. Another important fundraiser, the Cavalier Classic supports tuition assistance and educational technology. Since 2004, the golf tournament has also included a bridge social held in the Clubhouse. Click HERE for more information.
Roncalli Hall of Fame Banquet
The Roncalli Hall of Fame was established in 1998 to recognize and honor people who have made significant contributions of time, talent, or treasure to Catholic education in Aberdeen. Each year, new members of the Hall of Fame are inducted during a banquet early in the school year.
